How to update employee status on SOCSO ASSIST portal

1. How to Add a New Employee in SOCSO ASSIST Portal

Step 1: Log In

Visit ASSIST portal https://assist.perkeso.gov.my/ms/employer/login and login using your employer credentials.

Step 2: Registration

Navigate to “My Sites” and select “Registration”.

Step 3: Update Employee

Go to “Update” and choose “Update Add New Employee”.

Step 4: Edit Employee Information

Click the pencil icon to update the employee’s details.

Step 5: Add New Employee

Go to “New Employee(s) Listing” and click “Add Employee”.

Step 6: Fill in Employee Details

Enter the required employee’s information and click “Save”.

Once saved, the employee will appear in the list. Click “Save & Continue” to proceed.

Step 7: Upload Supporting Documents

Click “Add Document” to upload the required supporting documents.
After uploading, the documents will appear in the list.
Click “Save & Continue”.

Step 8:Review Information

Check all details carefully. Once confirmed, click “Submit”.

Step 9: Download Generated Documents

After submission, download the following documents:
(a) Letter of Acknowledgement
(b) Letter of EIS Update Acknowledgement
(c) Letter of Successful Update
(d) Letter of Successful Update EIS Employee
These documents will also be sent to the employer’s registered email.

2. How to Remove a Resigned Employee from SOCSO ASSIST Portal

Step 1: Access Update Section

Go to “Update”, select “Update Add Employee Resigned Date”.

Step 2: Begin Update Process

Click pencil icon to proceed with updating the employee’s resignation date.

Step 3: Add Resignation Date

Search for the specific employee and enter the resignation date.
Once saved, the employee will appear under “Employee Resigned Date” list.
Then, click the Add Employee icon to transfer the employee into the “Employee That Had Added Resigned Date” list.

Step 4: Upload Supporting Documents

Click “Add Document” to attach any required supporting documents.
After uploading, the files will appear in the document list.
Click “Save & Continue” to proceed.

Step 5: Final Review and Submission

Verify the employee details and supporting documents.
Once confirmed, click “Submit” to complete the resignation status update.
